About MinutesAI

What this site is

MinutesAI is a free meeting summarizer: paste a transcript from Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or any other source, and get a short summary, the decisions, and every action item with its owner. There is no account, no bot that joins your call, and nothing to install — the notes copy as Markdown or download as a Word (.docx) or .md file for Notion, Google Docs, or a recap email. It does not record or transcribe audio: you paste transcript text or upload a .vtt, .srt or .txt caption file your meeting tool already produced.

Not to be confused with similarly named apps: getminutesai.com is an independent website and is not affiliated with the “Minutes: AI Meeting Note Taker” app (Minutes AI, LLC), the “Minutes.AI: Meeting Recorder” app or the “MinutesAI - Speech Summarizer” app. Those apps work from audio — recording a meeting or taking an audio file — while this site only summarizes text. How it works

You paste a transcript you already have; when you click summarize, the text is sent to our AI provider once to generate the notes and is not stored on our servers afterward. The tool is instructed to use only what is in the transcript and not to invent names, dates, or tasks. Like any AI summary it can still drop or misread a detail, so check names, numbers and dates against the transcript before you send the notes.

Why it's free

This is a lightweight static site with a single summarize endpoint, so the running costs are small. A daily limit per device keeps it free for everyone. We may recommend related free tools we build, and any sponsored placement, if it ever appears, will be labeled as such.
