How to get an AI summary of a Teams meeting
Microsoft Teams keeps a meeting transcript in the meeting Recap once transcription has run. Once you have that text, an AI summary takes four steps.
- Open the meeting Recap In Teams, go to Calendar, open the meeting, and select the Recap tab (or open the meeting chat). The transcript appears there once processing finishes.
- Copy or download the transcript Open the Transcript and copy the text, or download it as .docx or .vtt and upload the file above.
- Paste it above and summarize Paste the transcript and click “Summarize meeting” for an AI summary, the decisions, and action items.
- Copy or download the recap Copy the summary as Markdown or download a .md file for Notion, Docs, or a recap email.
